WELCOME
I am Tina McElveen, the owner and founder of HSL. For continuous education, I’ve attended several weaving classes and received certifications; Amanda Jackson – Weaving & Cutting, Mrs. Sullivan – Installing Hair Systems, New Image Labs – Hair Replacement, Ashtae Business Class, and more. I’ve also done platform work for Shambreka and Ashtae.
1985
I graduated from Chris Logan Beauty College.
1989
I opened my first salon in 1989. In 1990, I moved to my second rental location and stayed still for approximately thirty years.

HSL clientele grew as well as the staff. In 2017, I relocated to a 6000 square footage space. My dream is to service everyone no matter of the hair, skin, or race. HSL by Tina Suites and Spa was designed to boost other entrepreneurship startup without a lot of overhead allowing family and friends to come and enjoy the space together.
